Well..the project was fairly simple in design. Find line art online (cite and be prepared to describe any and all sources) and color it in using photoshop. Use textures from outside sources to add detail to the image and so on and so forth. We had to implement the use of channels and masks as well. Using the required methods I found your line art here on DA and proceeded to have fun with it. I made channeled areas and masked them off for color and what not. I used a clear stained glass panel on a dif level of opacity to get the texture and a few other fun things. I played with the color brilliance..just alot of ..yeah..I'm rambling...the stained glass texture was actually the only semi complicated thing to do and that was only because I had to choose between a couple of methods...at first I was using a brush to put the raised effect in by hand...then I decided on the glass layer and greater brilliance of color as a better effect...thoughts?
Can you tell me more about the assignment?
Would you like to know a trick about keeping the lines nice and crisp and unclouded by texture?
